Welcome Justine Hagness to the team! — Saint John the Baptist Catholic School

We are sad to send off our wonderful Malarie Thomsen to sunny, warm Florida (and a little jealous too), but also excited to welcome our new School Administrative Assistant, Justine Hagness, to the team!

I am thrilled to be joining the staff at St. John the Baptist School. I am a St. John’s alumni and currently have a Kindergartner (Dylan) and 2nd Grader (Lanny). I have so many fond memories of attending this school, and a scar on my chin to prove that saucer sleds go way too fast down the hill near the playground!

I met my husband, Ryan, while obtaining my bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota. We traveled the country for 9 years while he pursued his Navy career, and I had various jobs working with at-risk youth. After starting a family, we decided it was time to plant our roots permanently in Jordan. Over the past several years, I’ve worked in sales and event planning, and now I’m excited to start this new chapter in a school (and parish) that I hold dear to my heart. In our free time we enjoy traveling, fishing, football, golfing, but we realistically spend most of our time doing projects outside.

I can’t wait to join this amazing team and get to know all of the families even better.
