Mrs. Taylor Zweber

Hi! I'm Mrs. Taylor Zweber, the first grade teacher here at Saint John's. I've taught first grade for 5 years with 4 years at Saint John's. I graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a STEM certificate. I am graduating with a Masters degree in K-12 Reading from the University of St. Thomas in May 2024.

I grew up just down the road in New Prague but currently live in Montgomery with my husband, Kyle and our energetic puppy, Grizzly and our two mischievous cats - Moose & Bear. We love to travel, attend concerts, read books & shop the aisles of Target!

My favorite subject to teach is phonics because it opens the door for learning to read and write - plus it's a lot of fun! In my opinion, first grade is the best year as we become more independent, learn to read, solve problems on our own & count to reallllly big numbers! I'm excited for another great year of learning & fun at Saint John's!
