Mrs. Lynn Girard

I am so excited to be a part of the community at Saint John the Baptist! Although I have been teaching for many years, I still love the excitement of being in the classroom and designing fun and interesting lessons.  I received my BA in Elementary Education from Minnesota State Mankato and my MA from Saint Mary’s in Curriculum and Instruction. I enjoy engaging students and making learning relevant and interesting.  I love watching  and helping students grow in their faith.

I live in New Prague with my husband.  We have two grown children who both live in Madison, Wisconsin.  I also have two beautiful grandchildren with whom we try to spend as much time as possible.  I love reading, gardening, and travelling. We love to go to state and national parks and to see as much of this beautiful world as possible.
