Andy Feddema

We are thrilled to introduce to you the newest addition to the St. John's teaching staff. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Andy Feddema to the SJB team! Andy will be teaching Middle School Social Studies and joining our team this fall! His energy, enthusiasm, and love for kids will be a great fit with the fantastic staff we have here at Saint John the Baptist.

Blessings,

Principal Dorr

Hello!

My name is Andy Feddema, and I am very excited to be joining the SJB family next school year. I am a native of southern Minnesota, having graduated high school just down the road from Jordan in Montgomery, at Tri-City United High School.

Growing up, I was blessed to have been raised in a nuclear family with Catholic values instilled from a young age. My dad, Greg, is a teacher at Montgomery Middle School. My mom, Kelly, is a Physical Therapist for the Mayo Clinic system in Mankato. I also have two younger brothers. Jackson is 24, and currently working on his MBA. Matthew is 21 and is a junior at Bemidji State University studying exercise science (pre-physical therapy).

I have spent the last four years teaching middle and high school social studies at Cook County Schools in Grand Marais, MN. In addition to teaching, I was also involved in the coaching of several sports, as well as serving as athletic director this past school year. I truly have a passion for working with kids, and am excited to bring that passion to SJB.

In my spare time, I enjoy anything outdoors. I am an avid hunter and fisherman, spending any moment I can in my boat or in the woods.

Thank you for taking some time to read a little bit about me. I am looking forward to meeting you all, and very excited to step foot into the rewarding world of Catholic education!

Blessings,

Andy
