Mrs. Susan Wondra
Welcome! My name is Sue Wondra and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at St. John’s. I will be beginning my 17th year at St. John’s and have taught for 15 previous years at Holy Cross Catholic School. All of my teaching years have been in Catholic Schools and most in Kindergarten. I love it at Saint John’s and teaching in a Catholic School and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Kindergarten is my true passion.
My husband Joe and I live outside of New Prague. We have three adult daughters and our dog Abbey. Jennifer is our oldest and is married to Nick Zurn. She is a biologist at the Red Cross and they live in New Prague. Our middle daughter Anna is married to James Ryburn and she teaches 2nd grade where they live in North Carolina. They will be moving back to Minnesota this summer! Our youngest daughter lives in St. Paul and is in graduate school for social work. She is engaged to Peter and is planning a wedding for fall/winter of 2023. In our free time, Joe and I love to spend time with our girls, camp, travel and watch movies. I also love to work with flowers and read. I look forward to another exciting year with my Kindergartners at Saint John’s!
