Cinco De Mayo Celebration

Last year, Saint John’s donated carnival games and provided student and parent volunteers to help run them at the Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Water Street in Jordan.  It was a fun time, a wonderful way for the kids to serve our community, and also a nice way to promote the values of our school.
We’d like to ask your help again with this great event that will raise funds for community outreach by providing medical services, financial literacy, resume building, interview clothing distribution and much more.
It happens to be the same day as our First Communion Mass (Saturday, May 5), so it is a busy day our our St. John’s family, but we know we can count on our families without a communicant this year to help out!
Please sign up for a shift with your child and wear your St. John’s spirit wear if possible. Let’s show the our community that we are here to serve and are raising disciples of Christ!
Here is the link to the sign up genius provided by the community group that is organizing the event. The festivities take place in the late afternoon/early evening.  You will want to sign up for the “games” slots.
We are grateful your time and consideration!
