Mrs. Maresa Murray

I attended St. Cloud State where I studied Special Education, Art/Graphic Design and Advertising, all of which have served me well at SJB.  This is my 16th year at SJB and I have worn many hats over those years.  I was hired on as a Teachers Aide and playground supervisor and currently work as the Phy Ed/AD and Art teacher as well as spend some time in the office assisting students who are sick or injured.  Physical Education is a new hat I wear this year and I am REALLY loving it.  It is so fun introducing and teaching/helping your kids to be active and to participate in team activities.  PE not only exercises the body but also helps to build social relationships, collaboration, and cooperation.  Art is my one of my passions and a real stress reliever for me!  Helping kids tap into their creative side (even the ones who don’t believe they have one) is beyond great!

My husband Ryan and I and kids – Reihle, Augusta and Griffin have lived in Jordan for the past 16 years and are active in the community and within both the St. John’s parish and school.  Outside of school, I enjoy spend my time at our family cabin, reading, hiking, being creative and watching my kiddos play sports.  Life is busy but love every minute of it!
